2018 Activities
Held a neighborhood spring cleanup 

Discussed “emergency preparedness” and distributed free fire/carbon monoxide detectors 
Representatives attended monthly meetings at the Southeast Precinct to become aware of crime issues in the neighborhood and to bring safety concerns to the attention of the Police Department
​•Met with officials from Omaha Public Schools regarding preliminary ideas for the new elementary schools
Encouraged neighbors and businesses to participate in Flag Day and fly flags of all sizes throughout the area

Updates from the various development projects in the neighborhood were made at monthly meetings and often representatives attended
A variety of speakers attended our monthly meetings to provide information: the Fire Department, Nebraska Humane Society, MUD, Code Enforcement, St. Joe Villa, neighborhood zoning, the lead program and updates from elected officials.
Hosted a Summer Picnic and Christmas Party

The GrandView Horticultural Club met and held meeting on various garden topics

A representative attended the Citizens Police Academy
Our monthly newsletter promoted "happenings and activities" in our neighborhood 
Continue to monitor riverfront activities along our boundaries               
Representatives attended meetings of the Downtown Omaha Inc. and South Omaha Neighborhood Alliance
